As the Director of Care, you will report directly to the Director of Long Term Care, overseeing the Nursing department to ensure effective resident care aligned with industry standards. A strong background in leadership, infection control, and healthcare management is essential. Key Responsibilities:
• Manage all aspects of the Nursing department effectively
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams for optimal care
• Mentor and supervise nursing staff regularly
• Prepare and maintain accurate nursing records and reports
Requirements:
• Registered Nurse with College of Nurses of Ontario
• 3+ years in Nursing, 2+ in management roles
• Experience in long-term care settings
• Robust knowledge of infection control protocols
• Valid Class “G” Ontario driver’s license
