Join Defence Construction Canada (DCC) as a Talent Acquisition and Retention Specialist in a hybrid role. This position emphasizes proactive recruitment and effective candidate management across Canada.

Working from our Ottawa office twice a week, this 12-month term involves collaborating with regional teams to address workforce planning challenges. You will conduct candidate screenings, enhance recruitment processes, and support creative sourcing strategies to attract diverse talent. Focus on continuous improvement and effective onboarding practices will be critical to your success.

Key Responsibilities:
• Execute candidate shortlisting and pre-screen interviews
• Innovate sourcing strategies to attract diverse candidates
• Manage talent pipeline processes and reporting




• Coordinate recruitment efforts with hiring managers
• Build partnerships with educational institutions

Requirements:
• College diploma in HR management and four years of relevant experience
• Bilingual in English and French is mandatory
• Proficiency with HRIS like Taleo preferred
• Knowledge of recruitment best practices in HR
• Strong organizational skills and technology aptitude
