Fraser Health is seeking a Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse to provide crucial psychiatric care in Fraser South. This role emphasizes crisis intervention and holistic patient support.

In the CRESST program, your role as an RN/RPN will involve integrated care for clients in acute psychiatric situations. You will implement supportive interventions, ensure thorough assessments, and work with other professionals to define and facilitate appropriate treatment strategies. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide therapeutic interventions in crisis situations
• Screen potential admissions using established criteria
• Assess client needs and formulate care plans




• Facilitate communication within the care team
• Support clients during discharge planning

Requirements:
• Registered with British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives
• Minimum one year mental health nursing experience
• Current First Aid and CPR Level C
• Class 5 BC Driver's License with vehicle access
• Ability to leverage crisis intervention techniques
