This position mandates strong skills in operating jumbos, bolting, and assessing ground conditions. You’ll work a 7 days on, 7 days off schedule, performing key tasks that include adhering to specifications and safety mandates. Work will often involve multitasking as you collaborate with team members toward operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
• Read and implement driving layouts and support instructions
• Conduct visual inspections and maintenance of work areas
• Perform minor repairs to drilling equipment




• Document daily logs and report to supervisors
• Execute blasting circuit connections and tests

Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of experience in underground mining
• Required Ontario Common Core certification for hard rock
• Ability to adapt and multitask in various situations
• Valuable communication skills for effective teamwork
• Knowledge of WHMIS and mining safety regulations
