Become a vital part of Porte as an Accounting Coordinator, managing accounts receivable and supporting property management. This role combines bookkeeping expertise with customer interactions in a dynamic workplace.

Porte is looking for a proactive Accounting Coordinator to oversee our accounts receivable function across mixed-income properties. Running since 1968, we pride ourselves on community impact and team collaboration. Your role will foster relationships between tenants, property management, and the accounting team, ensuring timely collections and accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform soft collections for commercial and residential tenants
• Create and maintain accounts receivable reports
• Record tenant payments and bank deposits accurately




• Process returned cheques and chargebacks promptly
• Support month-end and year-end financial processes

Requirements:
• Certificate or Diploma in accounting or related field
• Minimum 2 years in accounts receivable or accounting
• Bookkeeping knowledge and property accounting principles
• Proficiency with Yardi or similar software preferred
• Strong communication and multi-tasking skills
