Lead critical health initiatives with the Department of Health and Wellness as the Emergency Health Services Manager in Halifax. This permanent role involves budget management, contract negotiations, and the oversight of emergency services delivery.
As a vital team member, you will report to the Director of Emergency Health Services. You’ll manage resources, prepare budgets, and track expenditures, ensuring effective service delivery in alignment with provincial regulations. Your contributions will help shape strategic plans for the Emergency Health Services system by working collaboratively with internal and external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage Emergency Health Services contracts and partnerships
• Oversee budget preparation and financial tracking
• Lead committees at provincial and national levels
• Develop operational plans for Emergency Health Services
• Monitor administrative and clinical projects
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
• Three years management experience or master's degree with one year
• Strong contract management and finance skills
• Proven ability to build collaborative relationships
• Experience in emergency health systems
