Join Fraser Health as a Registered Nurse in Cardiac Services at our Surrey facility and make a difference in patients' lives. This Casual role focuses on comprehensive patient assessments and tailored nursing care in an outpatient setting.
As part of our dedicated team, you will provide patient-centered assessments and collaborate closely with healthcare professionals. Highlighting your clinical skills, you will be involved in patient education, care planning, and intervention evaluations, ensuring safety and quality in all care delivered.
Key Responsibilities:
• Screen surgical patients for readiness and diagnostics
• Assess and determine nursing interventions for patient care
• Teach health management strategies to patients and families
• Document all patient interactions and responses
• Collaborate with the healthcare team for care adjustments
Requirements:
• Approved Nursing Program graduation with BCCNM registration
• Recent cardiac care nursing experience (minimum 2 years)
• Valid BCLS and ACLS certification
• BC Driver's License required
• ECG telemetry monitoring experience
