Become an essential part of Alberta Health Services' Environmental Services team in Peace River. This full time position emphasizes safety and excellence in healthcare cleaning.

In this role, you will be tasked with maintaining cleanliness in a variety of hospital settings. Your duties will include sweeping, mopping, and effectively using industrial cleaning equipment. You will also manage supplies, make beds, and communicate hazards to leadership, while possibly assisting in training fellow staff.

Key Responsibilities:
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum healthcare environments efficiently
• Operate floor maintenance cleaning equipment
• Restock supplies in bathroom facilities
• Identify and report hazards to your Working Leader
• Train new Environmental or Laundry staff as necessary

Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent education
• Capable of lifting 25 lbs and pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs
• Excellent communication skills and instruction-following capability
• Familiar with computer and smartphone usage
• Previous cleaning experience in healthcare is an asset
