Elevate financial management efforts at Senior Neighbors as a Part-Time Accountant. This role encompasses crucial duties in payroll processing, accounts payable, and compliance for the organization.

Reporting directly to the Director of Finance and Operations, this part-time position allows you to contribute 24-28 hours a week from the Central Office, possibly transitioning to a hybrid schedule. The ideal candidate will have experience in nonprofit accounting and a strong understanding of grant funding compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
• Process weekly accounts payable and vendor payments
• Ensure accurate payroll entries and updates
• Manage expenses against grant budgets
• Maintain confidentiality and proper record storage
• Serve as backup for reconciliations and reporting

Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in accounting mandatory
• 3-5 years’ experience in nonprofit finance preferred
• Knowledge of financial compliance and grant cycles
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite
• Solid organizational abilities and attention to detail
