In this crucial role within the Operations Department, you’ll report directly to the Supervisor of Fleet & Supplies. The ideal candidate will have solid skills in diagnosing and repairing various vehicle systems, enhanced by a valid Automotive Technician Certificate (310 S) and Truck and Coach Certificate (310 T). You will also maintain compliance with safety codes while helping the City deliver top-notch services to over 370,000 residents.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct mandatory inspections for municipal vehicles
• Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues




• Perform repairs on automotive and heavy equipment
• Work overtime and standby as needed
• Ensure vehicles meet internal operational standards

Requirements:
• 7 years of related experience
• Valid DZ Driver’s License (or ability to obtain)
• Certified Automotive Technician (310 S and 310 T)
• Skilled in diagnostics and shop equipment operation
• Must supply own tools and pass driver’s abstract check
