At Giatec Scientific Inc., you will facilitate the movement and tracking of materials between our warehouses in Ottawa and other locations. The role requires handling international orders, maintaining accurate inventory logs, and providing essential support for hardware deployments. Your operational insight will play a key role in customer success and day-to-day logistics management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage inbound and outbound logistics with various carriers
• Prepare shipping documentation for international orders
• Ensure accurate inventory across multiple warehouse sites
• Conduct cycle counts and investigate discrepancies
• Act as primary backup for the Manager, Inventory & Logistics
Requirements:
• 4+ years experience in logistics and inventory management
• Hands-on knowledge of shipping and customs procedures
• Familiarity with ERP systems for logistics tracking
• Ability to manage competing priorities independently
• Capable of lifting packages that weigh up to 50 lbs
