About the Role: Little Folks Daycare in Minneapolis, MN is looking for a passionate and nurturing Lead PreK Teacher to join our team! This is a wonderful opportunity to make a lasting impact on young learners during their most formative years in a warm, supportive environment.
Responsibilities: Plan and implement age-appropriate, play-based curriculum for PreK-aged children
Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
Monitor and document children's developmental progress and milestones
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding child development
Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and classroom aides
Maintain classroom materials, supplies, and organization
Ensure compliance with state childcare licensing regulations and safety standards
Requirements: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred




Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a licensed childcare or preschool setting
Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices
Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Ability to pass a background check per Minnesota childcare licensing requirements
Warm, patient, and enthusiastic demeanor with young children
