Join the CITY OF KENORA FIRE AND EMERGENCY SERVICES as a Paid-Per-Call Firefighter. This entry level role provides essential training and experience in emergency response.

You will have a unique opportunity to respond to critical incidents, work within a dedicated team, and utilize specialized firefighting equipment. Training is provided to ensure you develop key firefighting skills and certifications while actively contributing to your community.

Key Responsibilities:
• Attend emergency incidents, including fire and rescue operations
• Operate firefighting apparatus and tools during emergencies
• Participate in recruit training to enhance skills and knowledge
• Assist with community fire prevention and education initiatives
• Maintain physical readiness for demanding fire service duties

Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Unrestricted Ontario Glass “G” Driver’s License required
• Willing to complete DZ Driver’s License training
• Solid commitment to ongoing training
• Ability to remain calm in crisis situations
