RSM is seeking an Assurance Intern passionate about accounting and client service. You'll be tasked with understanding client expectations and industry standards while participating in substantive tests and audit reviews. Interns are encouraged to develop their skills in financial statement preparation and internal control assessments while receiving coaching from experienced colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze client accounting and internal control systems
• Familiarize yourself with RSM's audit tools
• Conduct risk assessments for clients
• Prepare and perform substantive tests in audits
• Draft financial statements in compliance with standards
Requirements:
• 90 credit hours towards your degree
• Pursuing a B.A. / B.S. in Accounting
• Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred
• Strong computer skills, especially in Excel
• Ability to travel to client sites
