Enhance children's programming at the Ottawa Humane Society (OHS) as an Outreach Attendant. Lead activities, conduct tours, and create memorable experiences for youth and families.
This full-time role involves facilitating OHS events like kids' tours, camps, and birthdays. You will engage school-aged youth through educational activities and ensure safe interactions with animals. Collaboration with coworkers, volunteers, and trainers is key to promoting a nurturing setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and implement events for various age groups
• Lead tours at the Ottawa Humane Society
• Supervise children during programs for safety
• Monitor supplies and report needs
• Maintain outreach areas and equipment
Requirements:
• Secondary school diploma or equivalent
• Three months’ experience with children and youth
• Current Standard First Aid CPR-C and AED Certification
• Proficiency in written and spoken English
• Bilingualism in English/French is an asset
