Join Kinsight as a Community Outreach Worker, delivering essential support services to individuals with developmental delays in Tri-Cities. This role offers flexible scheduling to meet diverse client needs.
In the role of Community Outreach Worker, you will assist individuals in their daily lives, promoting skill development and community integration. You will support clients with tasks like public transportation navigation, financial management, and developing meaningful relationships. Kinsight serves the communities of New Westminster, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, Anmore, and Belcarra.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work one-on-one with clients in community settings
• Help individuals use public transport and manage finances
• Promote relationship building and community involvement
• Support ongoing personal development plans
• Work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
Requirements:
• Human Services diploma or similar qualification
• Class 5 Driver's License with a reliable vehicle
• Certification in First Aid/CPR and Food Protected
• Knowledge of positive behavioral support and facilitation
• Experience aiding individuals with disabilities
