Join Irving Shipbuilding as an Engineer-in-Training, developing key engineering processes. This full time role focuses on governance, reporting accuracy, and cross-functional collaboration within the team.
As part of the Technical Engineering Team, you will support the Manager of Technical Engineering in driving best practices and ensuring process integrity within engineering projects. Your contributions will be critical for achieving contractual milestones while working on continuous improvement initiatives and process reliability. Collaborate closely with various stakeholders to enhance project transparency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain timely reporting of acceptance activities
• Collaborate to drive alignment across engineering projects
• Produce metrics to inform organizational decisions
• Analyze delays using process improvement methodologies
• Provide analysis to support engineering teams' understanding
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar
• 0–6 years of relevant experience required
• Familiarity with lean methodologies is a plus
• Project Management certification in progress is preferred
• Full-time, in-office position necessary
