Contribute to agricultural research as a part-time Agronomy Assistant at the Ontario Crops Research Centre. This position spans from September through November, focusing on field trials and research support.

As an Agronomy Assistant at the New Liskeard Agricultural Research Station, you will work under the direction of the Research Manager, facilitating various agricultural research projects. In this hands-on role, you'll perform tasks like data collection, harvesting, and assisting with the planting of fall crops, gaining experience across multiple disciplines in agronomy.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct field research trials for different crop varieties
• Assist with harvesting and data sample processing
• Participate in planting fall crops when necessary




• Work safely around agricultural equipment
• Collaborate closely with the research team on trials

Requirements:
• Relevant 2-year diploma or undergraduate degree
• At least 9 months of field-related experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
• Must be physically able to lift 30 pounds
• Class G Driver's License and WHMIS training required
