In this role, you will deliver high-quality nursing care to patients with varying acuity needs. Required responsibilities include assessments, interventions, and patient education, all while upholding the Person-Centred Care philosophy. Your surgical experience will assist in Pre-Op and Post-Op care, ensuring patients and families receive adequate teaching.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide primary care for neurosurgery and trauma patients • Conduct thorough assessments and appropriate interventions • Collaborate with healthcare teams for comprehensive care • Educate patients and families on care processes • Advocate for patients' needs and preferences
Requirements: • Current Registration with CNO for nursing practice • Certification in B.C.L.S. required • B.Sc.N. preferred for nursing candidates • Experience in surgical environments and patient teaching • Solid interpersonal and communication skills
