As a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse, you’ll engage with clients to provide individualized care focused on stabilization and recovery. Your responsibilities include creating and modifying care plans, conducting assessments, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals. You'll be part of a supportive team dedicated to client-centered services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver personalized nursing care to clients with mental illness • Engage in case coordination and discharge planning • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments • Ensure proper medication administration and monitoring • Participate in team planning and quality improvement activities
Requirements: • Active RN or RPN registration with BCCNM • At least 240 hours in a mental health practicum • Proficiency in harm reduction and recovery care • Solid skills in assessment and care planning • Experience in managing aggressive behaviors and conflicts
