Become a Stationary Engineer dedicated to green initiatives at our facility. This in office role focuses on monitoring systems, managing equipment, and enhancing environmental outcomes. This position requires a Stationary Engineer with 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience.
You will manage hydro, thermal, and nuclear power plant operations while also instructing apprentices and developing safety procedures. Contributing to environmental preservation and helping Canada meet its net-zero targets is a critical part of this role. Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain station records, logs, and reports
- Instruct apprentices in operational procedures
- Investigate and resolve equipment problems
- Monitor plant systems for malfunctions
- Operate automated control systems in power plants
Requirements:
- Stationary Engineer 'B' certification required
- WHMIS and Forklift Operator certifications
- 2-3 years of relevant experience
- Experience with ammonia refrigeration and boilers
- Ability to handle up to 50 lbs
