About LSA

Lifetime Skills Academy (LSA) is looking for passionate instructors to lead engaging STEM classes for kids. If you have experience working with children and a strong background in STEM education, we’d love to hear from you! Our programs focus on fostering curiosity and knowledge in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math in a supportive and motivating environment.

Instructors will have the flexibility to develop and implement their lesson plans while advancing students' understanding of key STEM concepts.

Specific Responsibilities

Lead interactive STEM classes for students ages 3.5-12.

Encourage and guide students to complete assigned STEM projects.

Develop and deliver age-appropriate lesson plans.

Manage classroom setup and maintain a safe, organized learning setting.

Motivate students and create a positive, engaging atmosphere.

Communicate clear instructions and oversee a team of junior instructors as needed.

Participate in curriculum development for STEM-focused content.

Qualifications

Strong foundational knowledge in STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics).

Experience teaching or tutoring children, ideally ages 6-16.

Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to inspire and maintain student engagement.





Willingness to learn and expand STEM teaching skills, including curriculum development.

Ability to design and implement STEM projects tailored to young learners.

Ideal Candidate

Prior experience in hands-on STEM programs such as coding, robotics, or engineering.

A Vulnerable Sector Check.

Familiarity with tools such as Scratch, Lego WeDo/EV3, Tinkercad, or 3D printing is a strong asset.

CPR/First Aid certified or willingness to complete certification within the first month of employment.

Valid G license and/or access to reliable transportation.

Compensation

Compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
