Our large enterprise client is seeking an IAM - Authentication & Access Control Specialist to lead the development of policies, review current processes, and improve standards .
This is an initial contract to January 29, 2027, with a solid possibility of extension. The successful candidate can follow a remote working model within MST hours of operation.
Must-Haves:
10+ years of experience in cybersecurity risk and compliance
Experience developing cybersecurity policies, standards, procedures, and governance documentation
Experience with authentication, access control, identity lifecycle management, and privileged access management
Experience conducting risk assessments, control reviews, and compliance evaluations
Experience supporting IT General Controls (ITGCs), audit activities, control testing, and control automation
Experience with SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, SailPoint, ServiceNow and enterprise authentication technologies
Knowledge of NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and related security standards
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development of enterprise authentication policies, standards, and supporting documentation
Review current authentication and access control practices across the organization
Assess authentication-related exceptions, non-compliance, and risk acceptance decisions
Identify control gaps and recommend remediation activities and compensating controls
Collaborate with Cybersecurity, IT Compliance, and Application teams to gather requirements and validate findings
Support the development of authentication governance processes and exception management practices
Align authentication requirements with industry frameworks and leading practices
