Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field

Minimum of three years of experience in laboratory or engineering

Practical proficiency in common laboratory tools and instruments

Experience in configuring, maintaining, and overseeing tests according to established test procedures

Competence in collecting, analyzing, and visualizing test data

Knowledge of lithium‑ion batteries





Strong verbal and written communication skills

Exceptional problem‑solving and analytical abilities, attention to detail

Legal eligibility to work in Canada

Preferred Qualifications:

Master of Science degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field

Familiarity with AVL PUMA or similar battery test systems

Experience with CAN tools, such as Vector CANalyzer

Proficiency in calibration and analysis tools, like ETAS-INCA

Experience with EV battery pack diagnosis, root cause analysis, and teardown

Proficiency in data processing using MATLAB or Python

Experience with DVP&R; (Design Verification Plan & Report) test plan execution

Prior experience or knowledge of ISO 17025 or 9001 accreditation
