Description Home Health Care Worker
Full time / 30 to 40 hours per week)
GUIDO FAMILY
Location: North York, ON M3H 2M5
Salary: $21.00 hourly / 30 to 40 hours per week
Terms of Employment: Permanent employment, Full time
Starts: As soon as possible
On Site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Work Setting
Employer’s/client’s home
Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment.
Tasks
Care for an elderly person with a disability.
Administer bedside and personal care to the elderly person.
Assist the elderly person with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene.
Assist the elderly person with regular exercise, such as walking.
Mend the elderly person’s clothing and linens.
Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.




Provide companionship to the elderly person.
Provide personal care to the elderly person.
Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
Job Requirements
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
Experience: Experience is an asset.
Security and Safety: Criminal record check.
Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
