Amps Powerline in Winnipeg, MB is looking for skilled Construction Linemen/women to handle electrical power lines. This full time role involves working safely in diverse environments with occasional overtime shifts.

The selected candidates will be responsible for installing and maintaining power distribution systems. Successful applicants should have excellent teamwork abilities, relevant certifications, and readiness to work in various weather conditions. The role includes working at heights and possibly in confined spaces, promising a physically engaging work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Install and maintain electrical distribution systems
• Operate and maintain towers and guy wires
• Splice, solder, and insulate conductors




• Inspect power lines and auxiliary equipment
• Guide and instruct apprentices in installation work

Requirements:
• Must be fluent in English
• Powerline Technician Trade Certification required
• Previous experience is a plus
• Valid driver’s license necessary
• Capability to perform underground work and operate at heights
