In this experienced role, you will report to the Maintenance Supervisor while caring for hoist plants and performing vital maintenance tasks. Your dedication will contribute to the safety and effectiveness of the team, allowing the Red Lake Madsen Mine to flourish. Engage in improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Adhere to safe work practices at all times
• Read and interpret blueprints for machinery repairs
• Maintain hoist plants and related equipment
• Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections
• Participate in maintenance shutdowns with your team
Requirements:
• Must hold Red Seal certification as a Millwright
• 3 years experience maintaining mine hoists
• Valid G driver’s license required
• Training in mine hoist record management
• Physical capability to lift and work at heights
