In this 12-18 month position, you'll be responsible for monitoring community spaces and addressing bylaw infractions throughout the city. Your duties will require strong inter-personal skills and the ability to work independently. Experience in inspection and enforcement is essential for effectively managing bylaw compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Patrol downtown and community spaces for bylaw adherence
• Respond to and investigate bylaw complaints
• Issue compliance tickets and remedial notices
• Prepare inspection reports and gather evidence for violations
• Collaborate with local teams to resolve problematic properties
Requirements:
• Grade 12 diploma and relevant coursework
• Proven enforcement or inspection experience
• Class 5 Driver's License for British Columbia
• Strong interpersonal and judgement skills
• Flexibility to work evening and weekend shifts
