Become a key psychological support for Pharmacy students at the University of Alberta. In this hybrid role at North Campus Edmonton, deliver critical one-to-one counselling to learners.
The Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences seeks an experienced psychologist to provide tailored psychological care. You will work autonomously, helping students navigate academic, personal, and emotional challenges while using trauma-informed, evidence-based strategies to create a trusting setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver short-term, evidence-based counselling to students
• Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans
• Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments
• Collaborate with mental health teams for optimal care
• Contribute to wellness programs and initiatives
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Counselling or Clinical Psychology
• Registered Psychologist in Alberta
• At least five years of relevant experience
• Proficient in therapy and crisis intervention
• Strong interpersonal skills with diverse populations
