Be a pivotal part of Making Space as a Community Navigator in Peterborough. This role focuses on providing tailored support to older adults and helping them access essential community services.

You'll assist clients through various methods, including in-person appointments and virtual consultations, ensuring they receive the guidance needed to manage their emotional and social needs. By leveraging your local knowledge, you will contribute to reducing isolation and promoting independent living.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead clients to appropriate community resources
• Deliver personalized one-on-one support sessions
• Assess individual needs to formulate effective plans
• Engage through face-to-face, phone, and online support




• Enhance mental health and reduce feelings of loneliness

Requirements:
• NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or commitment to obtaining
• Relevant experience in client assessment
• Passion for community support and alignment with our values
• Robust interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
