Contribute to the mental well-being of youth as a Registered Clinician with North Eastern Ontario Family and Children’s Services in Timmins. You will provide psychotherapy, assessments, and support to children and families in need.
This full-time role focuses on delivering effective clinical interventions within a multi-disciplinary environment. The ideal candidate will have robust skills in assessing behavioral, social, and emotional challenges in youths. You will work collaboratively while showcasing your clinical expertise in child mental health.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide psychotherapy and counseling to children and adolescents
• Conduct clinical assessments for behavioral and emotional needs
• Support families and enhance their coping strategies
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of client progress
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Social Work or related field preferred
• Registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers or equivalent
• Clinical skills in children’s mental health required
• Bilingual in English and French is mandatory
• Minimum G2 driver’s license or valid G Class license
