- Contribute to the identification, assessment, monitoring and tracking of strategic, cross-functional and emerging risks
- Conduct risk analyses and provide advisory support in assessing projects, initiatives and strategic matters
- Monitor action plans, mitigation measures, indicators and related documentation with business partners
- Prepare reports, presentations and other documents for senior management and various committees
- Support and raise awareness among partners regarding risk management methodologies, tools and standards
- Collect, consolidate and analyze data to provide an integrated view of risks
- Research and analyze emerging trends influencing the business environment and the organization’s risk profile
- Collaborate with other risk management teams to ensure a consistent and harmonized approach
- Facilitate workshops, working sessions and training activities as required
- Participate in projects or assignments requiring risk management expertise
- Perform other responsibilities contributing to the team’s objectives

Requirements

- Holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or another relevant field
- Has two to five years of experience in risk management, auditing, strategic planning, project management or a related field
- Demonstrates a strong interest in strategic issues and organizational risk management, as well as strong analytical and synthesis skills
- Solid written and verbal communication skills and ability to prepare executive-level presentations




- Excellent teamwork, intellectual curiosity and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Knowledge of the financial services or insurance industry, an asset
- Familiarity with risk management principles, project management methodologies or LEAN approaches, an asset
- Advanced proficiency in English and French is required, for daily communication with English-speaking and French-speaking clients and partners across Canada
