EngineeringIntern,you’ll gain hands‑on experience developing applications and systems that support business and customer solutions. You’ll work with contemporary development tools and frameworks to build scalable, high-quality software while contributing to the full software development lifecycle. You'llreceive guidance from skilled technical leaders who value your teamwork and coordination abilities, and gain exposure to industry-leading, enterprise technologies.
We are currently looking for highly motivated students to join us in our Waterloo, Ontario, Canada office for a summer internship, running from April 29 th – August 19 th , 2027 . This is a hybrid position, where you are expected to be in the office Tuesday‑Thursday, with the opportunity to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. Contribute to a team of engineers focused on building scalable, reliable applications Support application development, testing, and debugging efforts Participate in code reviews and maintain code quality standards Support deployment, monitoring, and ongoing application maintenance Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Experience with at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, Go, JavaScript) Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Exposure to software frameworks, libraries, or development tools Understanding of software development lifecycle and best practices Familiarity with APIs, web services,

As part of our internship program, you will gainearly accessto Manulife John Hancock’s premier early talent program, GRO, tailored to graduating students! We expect a salary range of between $52,650 CAD to $70,200 CAD. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job‑related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
