Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Supervisor to cover a maternity leave. In this vital role, you will lead a team of dedicated educators, ensuring a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment for young children. Your leadership will foster positive development, support staff performance, and uphold the highest standards of care. Responsibilities

- Oversee daily classroom activities, ensuring they are developmentally appropriate and aligned with educational goals
- Supervise and support staff, providing guidance, feedback, and coaching to enhance their skills
- Collaborate with team members to create a warm, inclusive environment that promotes social-emotional growth
- Ensure compliance with licensing regulations, Health & safety protocols, and organizational policies at all times
- Assist with onboarding current staff members and facilitate ongoing training in early childhood education best practices
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children’s progress and any concerns
- Monitor classroom supplies and resources,



maintaining a clean and organized learning space

Qualifications

- Supervisor experience is preferred
- Must be registered and in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators
- Proven classroom experience in early childhood education or related fields
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable
- Demonstrated caregiving skills combined with leadership capabilities
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices
- Ability to manage a team effectively while maintaining a positive and energetic atmosphere
