Join The Salvation Army as a Community Corrections Support Worker to assist parolees in a nurturing environment. This position involves monitoring safety, facilitating integration, and adhering to correctional guidelines.
In this role, you will support the Community Residential Facility team while ensuring that all policies and procedures are followed. Your key responsibilities will involve direct interaction with residents, monitoring their progress, and maintaining a calm atmosphere. This position is crucial in empowering individuals on their path toward independence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct regular facility rounds and monitor check-ins
• Maintain security and access protocols in the residence
• Keep accurate records in the case management system
• Uphold confidentiality and professionalism with clients
• Assist in enforcing CRF rules and conditions of parole
Requirements:
• Minimum of a High School Degree or equivalent
• At least six months of relevant experience required
• Must hold Occupational First Aid Level 1 certification
• Explicit TB skin test required
• Experience with addiction issues and crisis intervention an asset
