Join the City of Victoria as a Pavement Maintenance Worker. This full time role focuses on road maintenance and safe operation of equipment to support the community’s infrastructure needs.

We are looking for a qualified Pavement Maintenance Worker who will perform vital tasks related to pavement repair and restoration. Key responsibilities include operating heavy machinery, maintaining safety protocols, and assisting in snow and ice control operations. Your work will ensure that our roads are safe and efficiently maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
• Break up damaged pavement using power tools
• Assist with traffic control and safety measures
• Maintain equipment and perform operational checks
• Conduct snow and ice removal in winter months
• Execute asphalt and gravel maintenance tasks

Requirements:
• High school diploma and snow removal certification
• 2 years of road maintenance experience
• Current Class 5 B.C. Driver's Licence
• Strong understanding of equipment operation
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather
