Join FNHA as a Nurse in Charge to improve health in Tahltan, BC. This part time role focuses on community health, primary care, and essential nursing services.
In this position, you'll take charge of nursing services within a First Nations community, ensuring a high standard of care encompassing health promotion, disease prevention, and urgent care management. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and at least two years of related experience. Your expertise will help shape community responses and enhance healthcare delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead nursing services focused on community and public health
• Promote health initiatives and disease prevention strategies
• Facilitate urgent and emergent care as needed
• Train and guide community healthcare teams effectively
• Manage nursing functions with cultural sensitivity
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• A minimum of 2 years nursing practice
• Registered with BCCNM
• Class 5 BC Driver’s License required
• Must be Remote certified or pursuing certification
