Join the Canadian Base Operators team in Meaford as a Roads and Grounds Operator. Utilize your grounding skills and equipment operation expertise across extensive training areas and grounds maintenance.

As a Roads and Grounds Operator, you will report to the Road and Grounds Supervisor and maintain the usability of approximately 6900 hectares at the Army Training Centre. This role requires effective operation of various equipment along with maintaining clean grounds and roads for military training support.

Key Responsibilities:
• Safely operate assigned grounds maintenance equipment
• Maintain cleanliness of the fleet and storage areas
• Oversee upkeep of roads, grounds, and training areas
• Perform turf maintenance through pruning and irrigation
• Execute road sign repairs and concrete finishing

Requirements:
• High School Diploma
• Valid DZ-Class Driver License
• 2 years’ experience with small and heavy equipment
• Clean driving record
• Ability to obtain an ARZ License
