Join CPKC as a Bridge Engineer, focused on maintaining safety across railroad infrastructure. This position involves extensive travel (70-80%) to assess and improve bridge conditions in North America.

In this role, you will assess service risks and recommend investment priorities based on inspection results. With a strong foundation in Civil Engineering and extensive experience, you’ll drive initiatives that ensure bridge safety and operational excellence. You'll work closely with teams to implement necessary inspections and maintenance plans, making a significant impact on CPKC's operations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure compliance during scheduled and emergency bridge inspections
• Collaborate with inspectors for high-quality evaluations




• Manage multi-year plans for bridge maintenance and upgrades
• Train and audit new bridge inspectors as per regulations
• Address field conditions effectively with divisional action plans

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, P.Eng. required
• At least 5 years of bridge inspection or design experience
• Valid driver’s license and preferred Canadian passport
• Proficient in communication and collaboration
• Ability to participate in emergency response schedules
