Trillium Recycling is a diversified recycling company located in Ajax Ontario, and specializing in wood pallet recycling services. For many years, Trillium has been supplying the local market with reliable products in a timely manner exceeding their client expectations.

We are currently looking for a Recycling Foreman to join our team based out of Ajax Ontario. The Recycling Foreman supervises and coordinates the activities of workers who disassemble/assemble and recycle our wood products.

This role involves a high level of administrative support, scheduling, coordinating, and multitasking, to support management and product delivery.





The successful Recycling Foreman will participate is a variety of regular management meetings with our team in support of production.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervise, coordinate and schedule activities of workers who disassemble/assemble, fabricate and inspect wood products for recycling.

Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other departments

Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality

Requisition materials and supplies

Train workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies

Recommend personnel actions such as hirings and promotions

Prepare production and other reports

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of experience as an assembler or inspector in a similar industry is required;

Ability to interact with people effectively and in a professional manner;

Technical administrative experience is an asset;

Ability to work independently and in a team setting;

Must be proficient with computers, especially Microsoft Office Suite (required);
