Job Description The Commercial Engineering Boomi team within CIO organization is responsible for designing and implementing integration solutions for commercial platforms (such as Adobe Experience Manager, Salesforce and SAP) that supports key business capabilities 'go to market' and 'customer experience' for Thomson Reuters. Our integration platform Boomi supports both real-time and scheduled business transactions by orchestrating hundreds of APIs connecting many to many applications and data.
Key Responsibilities Strong understanding of integration design patterns, integration points and business systems and develop integrations with SAAS, AWS or on-prem systems.
Ability to analyze and interpret logs (Process/Atom Logs).
Own development end to end from high-quality cod ing . Unit Testing, UAT support to Prod deployment .
Hands-on experience in troubleshooting API requests, SFDC connectors/listeners, Database Connectors, and Web services Connectors/Listener, complex scripts (Java or Groovy scripts), process/ sub-processes interdependencies and scheduled data jobs, performance issues.
Creating and managing RESTful APIs and monitoring API performance using analytics tools.
Through understanding of REST, SOAP, Web services and API Communication protocols S/FTP/S, HTTP/S, File I/O etc.
Good understanding on Integration patterns and Agile Framework.
Participated in requirement gathering, knowledge transfer sessions and created integration flow documents.
Knowledge on Message Queueing and troubleshooting experience.
Knowledge on Boomi Process building, development and good understanding of various data formats XML, JSON, CSV, Database is an add-on.
Mentor and guide others by reviewing the code of more junior software engineers as well as encouraging others to grow their technical skillset.




Ability to handle business stakaholders during P1 and P2 incidents and collaborate across teams and different time zones to drive issues to resolution.
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
Total 8 + years of experience in integration development.
Strong knowledge and hands‑on expertise in Boomi platform, including API development, Boomi connectors, data mapping, error and exception handling and process design.
Proficiency in various integration patterns and data exchange formats (e.g., REST, SOAP, JSON, XML).
Experience developing large volume and high velocity enterprise integrations. Ability to lead routine projects with manageable risks and resource requirements.
Experience in building integrations that are stable, reliable, and supportable.
Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize work effectively and independently.
Ability to write clean, readable code that is easy to understand.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (ability to communicate effectively with technical staff, business analysts , and management ).
Preferred Qualifications Proficiency in at least one programming language like Java, JavaScript, or Python.
Well versed with tools like DataDog, Postman, AzureDevops etc.
Understanding of Boomi environments and configurations preferably for Boomi on AWS.
