Research emerging cybersecurity technologies, attack techniques, and defensive capabilities.
Design, build, and validate proof-of-concepts (PoCs) to assess the feasibility of new security solutions.
Develop prototypes, tools, scripts, and automation to support security research initiatives.
Evaluate commercial and open-source security products and provide technical recommendations.
Conduct security testing, threat modeling, and capability assessments across enterprise environments.
Analyze emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and attacker tactics to identify security improvement opportunities.
Collaborate with engineering, security operations, architecture, and product teams to operationalize successful research outcomes.
Create technical documentation, research findings, architecture recommendations, and implementation guidance.
Support technology selection decisions through benchmarking, testing, and technical due diligence.
Stay current with cybersecurity trends, threat intelligence, AI-driven security advancements,
and industry best practices.
Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, security research, security architecture, or a related technical role.
Strong programming experience in one or more languages such as Python, Go, C/C++, Java, or Rust.
Hands-on experience developing prototypes, automation tools, or security-focused applications.
Robust understanding of:
Network Security
Application Security
Identity & Access Management
Threat Detection and Response
Security Architecture Principles
Experience performing technical evaluations of security technologies and products.
Ability to communicate complex technical findings to both technical and business stakeholders.
