This Mechanical Design Engineer role focuses on the entire lifecycle of traction inverters and chargers, collaborating with experts across various disciplines. With engagement in both planning and validation stages, you will play a key role in enhancing the efficiency and performance of Dana’s products worldwide. Your work will bridge the gap between design and production, ensuring creative and reliable solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee design activities for assigned products from conception to production
• Create mechanical components that meet thermal and structural requirements
• Collaborate on electro-mechanical integration projects
• Conduct analytics and support design validation iterations
• Participate in component reviews and manage technical documentation
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering mandatory
• Maximum 2 years of experience in mechanical design
• Proficient in mechanical modeling (NX, Solidworks, Catia)
• Understanding of GD&T; and manufacturing methods
• Strong command of English and French
