As part of a hybrid team at Vancity’s Head Office, you'll enhance our risk management framework and contribute to a solid risk culture. This full-time, permanent role involves leading the embedding of risk management practices and conducting comprehensive risk assessments. Your proactive approach will support the implementation of the Risk Appetite Framework (RAF) and foster accountability across departments.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead design and improvement of risk management governance
• Monitor risk appetite limits and Key Risk Indicators




• Build risk registers and facilitate risk workshops
• Engage stakeholders through training and change management
• Prepare quarterly reports for Risk Management Committees

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
• 5+ years of experience in risk management
• Demonstrated ability in risk analysis and reporting
• Strong influence and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience in financial services is preferred
