Overview

Join our energetic healthcare team as a Sweat Clinic Nurse with the Toronto Sweat Clinic, where you will play a vital role in delivering specialized care focused on providing Miradry Treatment. This is a medical machine that actively radiates and burns the sweat glands under the armpits for permanent sweat reduction. We have been offering this treatment for over 15 years now and looking to expand from our flagship Markham location to the downtown core.

To be available throughout the week at your own time and coordinate Miradry treatments, either day or evening. Each treatment takes about 2 hours in total and will be compensated $300 per treatment. You do not need prior experience in cosmetic procedures, we will train you on performing the procedure. We are looking at starting with 1-3 treatments/week and hoping to escalate those numbers in the next few months.

Duties

- Prepare patients for sweat testing procedures by explaining the process and addressing any concerns with enthusiasm and clarity
- Injecting lidocaine in the armpits for adequate anesthesia




- using the device to eliminate the sweat glands
- Document all patient interactions, test results, and procedural details meticulously in electronic health records
- Assist with equipment setup, calibration, and maintenance to ensure optimal functioning of Miradry
- Maintain a clean, organized clinic environment by adhering to infection control standards and safety protocols at all times

Requirements

- Valid nursing license with current registration; prior experience in hospital, or acute care settings highly preferred
- Proven experience working with lidocaine injections independently
- Hands-on experience with phlebotomy, medication administration, and medical terminology essential for accurate patient assessment and sample collection

Pay: $300.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2.0 – 10.0 per week
