Responsibilities

- Deliver engaging and comprehensive SAT/ACT tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs
- Develop and implement effective lesson plans that cover key test concepts, question types, and time management techniques
- Assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and personalized strategies for improvement
- Foster a positive, motivating classroom atmosphere that encourages active participation and confidence-building
- Utilize writing skills to help students improve their essay writing and analytical reasoning abilities for the exams
- Maintain detailed records of student performance, attendance, and session outcomes




- Collaborate with colleagues to refine teaching methods and stay updated on the latest test formats and best practices

Qualifications

- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching high school students, particularly in standardized test preparation
- Solid classroom experience with the ability to manage groups effectively and adapt to diverse learning styles
- Excellent writing skills to assist students with essay components of the exams and improve their overall communication skills
- Passion for education and a genuine desire to help students succeed academically
- Knowledge of SAT/ACT content, question formats, and scoring methodologies is highly preferred
- Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and motivate students toward achievement

- Bachelor's Degree (required)
