Summary Of Responsibilities Lead a team of collectors to mitigate retail credit losses by minimizing consumer loan portfolio delinquency while being an advocate of the customer.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
- Mentor / train and lead assigned collection team members in a dialer environment to meetand exceed predefined targets aimed at reducing delinquency and avoiding losses.
- Bring escalated collection calls to a satisfactory conclusion for both Yamaha Motor Financeand the customer.
- Utilize dialer to maximize collector contact efficiency and monitor individual/team performance.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize department efficiency and the customer experience.
- Identify and cure potential loss scenarios with a sense of urgency and within specifiedcorporate and regulatory guidelines.
- Complete performance reviews on direct reports.
- Approve consumer requests for contract extensions, rewrites, and custom payment plans.
- Conduct team meetings as required.
- Participate in special projects as required.
Education Requirements And/or Experience Requirements
- Degree/Diploma: College Degree
- Program of Study: General
- Years of Experience: 3-5 years of expeirence
- Type of Experience: Supervisory Collection role for asset-backed loans
Skills And Abilities
- Bilingual (French and English) is required.
- Superior organizational skills; strong negotiation skills; effective coaching/mentoring skills; high emotional, IQ; team player.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical skills.
Expected salary: $75,000 - $80,000/per annum Although base salary for this position is listed, final compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
