Alberta

We are seeking a thoughtful, client-centred Registered Dietitian to join our interdisciplinary team and deliver nutrition care that is evidence-informed, practical, and deeply personal.

Why Join Sabi Health?
At Sabi Health, you won't be working in isolation.

You'll be part of one of the best integrative medical teams in the city of Calgary , working alongside Naturopathic Doctors, Primary Care Physicians, Clinical Kinesiologists, and other healthcare professionals who value exercise as an important part of patient care.

This is an opportunity to build your clinical skillset, learn from other disciplines, and develop your own approach to exercise prescription within a collaborative healthcare environment.

How you can help and what we can accomplish together

As our Registered Dietitian, you will be a key member of our clinical team, entrusted to provide individualized nutrition assessments and ongoing follow-up for a varied caseload. At SABI, nutrition care goes beyond generic meal plans. You will work with clients to understand the bigger picture — health history, lifestyle, goals, relationship with food, activity, lab work, and day-to-day realities — and translate that understanding into precise, practical strategies they can sustain. No fads, no restrictive protocols. Together, we can help clients make meaningful, lasting changes to their health.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Provide individualized nutrition assessments and follow-up consultations

Develop practical, evidence-informed nutrition plans tailored to each client

Support clients across general health and wellness, weight management and body composition, sports and performance nutrition, women's health across the lifespan, cardiometabolic health, digestive health, healthy aging and longevity,

and behaviour change

Review relevant health history, dietary patterns, lifestyle factors, and available laboratory data to identify underlying drivers and contributing factors

Collaborate closely with SABI's interdisciplinary team, including physicians, naturopathic doctors, nurse practitioners, and movement specialists, so care stays coordinated

Provide clients with clear education, resources, and actionable next steps rather than one-size-fits-all recommendations

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in our EMR

Qualifications and Skills

Registered Dietitian in good standing with the College of Dietitians of Alberta

Strong clinical reasoning and evidence-based nutrition knowledge

Comfortable working independently while collaborating within an interdisciplinary team

Communicates nutrition science in a way that feels easy, practical, and approachable

Client-centred and non-judgmental in approach

Organized, reliable, and confident managing a varied caseload

Interest in preventative health, performance, body composition, and/or longevity-focused nutrition

Experience in sports nutrition, women's health, gastrointestinal health, metabolic health, or private practice is an asset but not required

The Person We’re Looking For

We hire for character first. Our values — Mind Open, Heart Open, Gut-Led, Hands-On — are what we look for in a person: curiosity that outlasts your training, warmth without performance, sound judgment where no rule covers it, and the reflex to fix what isn’t right without being asked. We can teach our systems and our standards. We cannot teach someone to care. If you are curious, thoughtful, collaborative, and genuinely invested in helping people, we would like to meet you.
