We are seeking an experienced and proactive Health & Safety Specialist to lead and support our client's Health & Safety programs across warehouse and facility operations. This role is responsible for promoting a strong safety culture, ensuring regulatory compliance, conducting workplace assessments, and partnering with operational teams to maintain a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of the company's Health & Safety programs.
Provide guidance and support to management and employees on health and safety best practices.
Conduct workplace inspections, audits, and hazard assessments to identify and reduce risks.
Investigate workplace incidents and recommend corrective and preventative actions.
Coordinate employee safety training, orientations, and certification requirements.
Maintain health and safety records, documentation, and compliance reporting.
Support Joint Health & Safety Committee (JHSC)
activities and safety initiatives.
Ensure compliance with applicable occupational health and safety legislation and company policies.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of Health & Safety experience in a warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or industrial environment.
Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety legislation and regulatory requirements.
Health & Safety certifications or designations are considered an asset.
Excellent communication, training, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic reporting/documentation systems.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel between company facilities as required.
Primarily day shifts with occasional evenings or weekends based on business needs.
