Shape the future of mental health care as a Mental Health Clinician with Shared Health in Winnipeg. Deliver both virtual and in-person mental health services to children and youth in First Nations communities.
This hybrid position focuses on providing timely mental health support through assessments and interventions for children and adolescents. You will collaborate closely with community partners and respond to service requests, while working with families to address their mental health needs.
Your role is crucial in promoting access to necessary health services under Jordan's Principle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical assessments and individual therapy for clients
- Collaborate with First Nations community resources and health services
- Conduct ongoing clinical interventions and evaluations
- Liaise with Jordan's Principle partners and stakeholders
- Deliver mental health education collaboratively with community partners
Requirements:
- Master's degree in a relevant health discipline
- 4-5 years experience with children and families
- Familiarity with First Nations culture and healing practices
- Active member of a regulatory body
- Experience in treatment models like CBT or DBT
